Global climate strike on September 20, 2024!

Shortly before the state elections in Brandenburg, a global climate strike will be called again on Friday, September 20. The issues of climate protection and climate adaptation are barely, if at all, noticeable in current political debates. Yet at the beginning of September, the EU climate service Copernicus in Bonn published data showing that the summer of 2024 (June, July and August) was warmer on a global average than at any time since weather records began.

The climate crisis is also a crisis of justice that must not be neglected in the current debate on democracy and migration. A broad alliance is therefore once again calling for a climate strike.
