The Climate Guide for Berlin-Brandenburg

Auf dem Weg zum Klimawegweiser Berlin-Brandenburg

Since the beginning of January, the Climate Change Center Berlin Brandenburg has been supporting the implementation of the Berlin-Brandenburg Climate Guide to increase the visibility of the current research landscape on climate-related topics.

From the second quarter of 2025, an online tool on the CCC website will be used to map the expertise of Berlin and Brandenburg research institutions in relation to the topics of the Brandenburg Climate Plan and the Berlin Energy and Climate Protection Program 2030 (BEK 2030). Stakeholders from politics, administration, science and business are thus given an overview of which research institutions can contribute to the implementation of which topic area and which experts can be contacted.

The online tool for the climate guide will be presented in an online event on March 27/28 from 10.30 AM to 12 AM via Zoom. You can sign up for the event here.

The climate guide is being created on the initiative of the Brandenburg Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Climate Protection (MLUK) in strategic implementation by RIFS Potsdam for the state of Brandenburg. The CCC is responsible for mapping the Berlin research institutions.

RIFS Potsdam is also publishing a special publication for the Brandenburg research landscape, which will be presented on February 28, 2025.
