Green Hydrogen as a Pathway to an Energy Secure Future?

Rapid action is required to enable a sustainable and carbon-free energy system. Solutions must be found promptly for upcoming implementation problems. Dependence on imported energy sources also jeopardises the economic system, making the energy transition a key item on the political agenda.
This panel discussion will explore the potential of green hydrogen and its derivatives for a successful sustainable and equitable energy transition, focussing on policy development as well as scientific research and communication on this topic. Following the debate, we invite all attendees to a reception.

The event is being organised in cooperation between the Climate Change Center Berlin Brandenburg and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation as part of the Humboldt Residency Programme.
