TU Berlin for Future

In the interdisciplinary climate lecture series ‘TU Berlin for Future’, TU scientists and external experts will once again address a wide range of topics relating to climate protection in the summer semester 2024.
The keynote lecture will be given by psychologist Lea Dohm. She is active in both Psychologists for Future and the German Climate and Health Alliance (KLUG) and will discuss the psychological consequences of the climate crisis and ways of overcoming it.

The other lectures will cover climate (protection) relevant topics relating to the energy transition, the construction sector and land use, as well as issues relating to the agricultural transition, light management and the avoidance of plastic waste. Finally, the diverse lecture series will also take a look at TU Berlin’s teaching on climate protection.
The lecture series is organised by the Centre for Technology and Society (ZTG), the departments of Labour Studies/Economics and Sustainable Consumption as well as Landscape Planning and Landscape Development at TU Berlin and supported by the Fridays for Future student association at TU Berlin.
